Rule |
Be respectful to yourself, your teammates, your opponents, your school, and others. |
General Information |
At the Varsity level, we will put the nine players on the field who we feel give us the best chance at winning—this may change at any given time. Even though a player may not currently be participating in the game, they are expected to be ready at all times to enter. At the Junior Varsity level, players are given a chance to contribute at different positions and in different situations. Playing time will not be equal at the Varsity or Junior Varsity levels. |
Practices |
Players must attend all practices. If a player is late or misses a practice, he will not start, and/or play the next game. Practice times will vary in the spring due to other spring sports. Practice times in the summer are determined based on when it best suits the team. |
Games |
If a player is late for a game, he will not start that game. If a players misses a game, he will not start the next game unless there is a practice before the next game. |
Other |
Do not hesitate to reach out to the coaches to discuss what you can do to get better or if you have any questions, or concerns, about your son’s well-being. Also, if you have questions about practices and game times, be sure to let us know. We will not discuss the playing time of players or other teammates. We strive to teach our young players how to succeed on the field and carrying those skills into real life. In doing this, we hope to show them how each role on the team is equally important. The skills learned by participating in high school athletics are applied in real-life situations. Teamwork |
