Manson Northwest Webster Open Enrollment
MNW Open Enrollment
Over 60 students open enroll from surrounding districts to Manson Northwest Webster. This segment of our student population is very important to us, and we will do everything possible to make your extra effort worthwhile. The administration, staff, students and parents of MNW believe that we have a lot to offer, some of which can be seen on this web site. For more information, please call the Central Office at 712-469-2202.
Open Enrollment Transportation
A variety of transportation agreements exist between school districts. Manson Northwest Webster has historically had an agreement with Fort Dodge public school to make one stop inside that district to pick up open enrollment students. This stop is made in the Starlite parking lot at the junction of highways 7 and 169. Because we have a large number of open enrolled students from the east side of our district, it is hoped that next year we can add an activities bus from Barnum to the Starlite following evening practices at the middle school just as we send a bus to Manson from Barnum at around 5:10 p.m. in the afternoon.
Our buses are also allowed to intrude up to 2 miles into the Prairie Valley, Rockwell City Lytton and Pomeroy Palmer School Districts. Students in those districts who live farther inside these districts must come to meet the bus at the closest point on its route. We have no agreement with Humboldt CSD.
