Department of Education Site Visit

Department of Education Site Visits are conducted in Iowa schools every five years.  This linked report below is the result of the three day visit in December of 2008.  The site visit team consisted of several DE consultants, AEA 8 consultants, and local area school administrators.  The team visited the buildings and interviewed administrators, teachers, students, parents, and community members in addition to reviewing documents of evidence. MNW had no non-compliance issues under the Iowa Code, but did have suggestions for improvement.  These suggestions are being reviewed by the District Leadership Team and will be incorporated into the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan and various improvement plans within.
