- Students understand and apply media, techniques and processes related to the visual arts.
- Students know how to use the structures ( eg. sensory, qualities, organizational principles, expressive features) and functions of art.
- Students know a range of subject matter, symbols, and potential ideas in the visual arts.

Mrs. Skophammer currently teaches K-6 grade art. She also teaches one sixth (6th) grade guided reading class. She is certified to teach K-12 art and photography and is authorized to teach 7-12 subjects in all areas. Mrs. Skophammer has been a teacher since l977, starting her career in Kansas. She has taught all levels of students from K-12th grade.
