Service Learning project:
The Elementary students collected pennies to help support a puppy for the prison. The inmates train the dogs to be seeing eye dogs for the blind. It is a great program supported by the Manson Lions Club. Judy Besch organized and talked to our Dec. Character Counts Assembly about the seeing eye dog program. Then the students were treated to a special guest, Daisy. Daisy is a puppy who has started her training and will be given to someone who needs her to see.
