Hosting the State Speech contest was a major undertaking and the event was a tremendous success thanks to the wonderful parents, students, citizens and staff of the Manson Northwest Webster School District. A few special thank you's to: Kim Quade who organized all of our wonderful volunteers; Marlene Johnson was on duty at the elementary school and handled the flooded room like a pro. Shawn Holloway, Mike Jepson and Jan Stoulil did everything from parking to answering questions in the office - many visitors to the school were impressed that our administration was present for the entire day.

Our school custodians did a fantastic job of keeping our school buildings looking good throughout the day, and Julie Tague's Advanced Food Class did such a great job of catering the judges' meal that we received numerous comments on the high quality of the lunch.

Many MNW staff members volunteered their time as timers, room chairs and other duties - they were positive and represented our schools well.

The MNW fine arts students worked very hard in both buildings throughout the day. They conducted themselves in a way that should make their parents and our school district very proud.

Finally, the citizens of the MNW school district were spectacular. Many people volunteered their time to help even though many had no children currently enrolled at MNW. The day was a huge success and it was made possible only by all of the wonderful people associated with Manson Northwest Webster.
